Lawn Irrigation Scheduling

Before we received the 6 plus inches of rain during the latter part of June in the Michiana area, I drove by numerous properties I maintain and saw on the majority of the lawns a lack of irrigation.  Proper irrigation is one of the more important things for a home owner to do for their lawn to keep it healthy, and also one that you can control.  Remember that the best time to irrigate your lawn is between 4-8 AM to minimize possible disease issues.

You will find below an evapotranspiration link that will give you a ROUGH estimate of how much water you need to apply per day/week.
